A Change in Season
It is the beginning of summer in our part of the world. Spring is behind us and it is time to change winter bedding to summer bedding and winter wardrobes to summer wardrobes.
Items needed
1. Vacuum storage bags
Items needed
2. Vacuum cleaner
3. Paper and pen if you don’t have a printer
The vacuum storage bags are excellent to keep bedding and clothes clean and in a good condition. It is a brilliant space saver.
Instructions:
1. Add all the blankets, electric blankets and seasonal clothing to the vacuum storage bags.
2. Write or print on the paper what is in the bag and add the paper to the storage bag.
3. The vacuum cleaner sucks out all the air and compresses the size.
DO NOT suck the air out of the bags where you put the electric blankets in. You will damage the wiring.
4. Store accordingly.
While you at it:
Change of season is the perfect time to go through all the items that will be put away.
1. Go through all the items and check whether:
a. It is still in a good condition
i. If not, discard or donate
ii. Make a list of the items that must be replaced. Shop accordingly.
iii. If yes, store accordingly.
b. It needs any alterations

Storing your seasonal bedding and clothing properly will extend the lifetime and it stays in a good condition. By checking your seasonal bedding and clothing before you store it, you will be fully prepared for that season.
