Questions to Ask when Starting to Declutter
Clutter! A disorderly or confusing state or collection. I can really testify that if you declutter, you simplify your life. Ok, so if by now, you haven't started with decluttering, it is time to get the ball rolling.
So how do you start? Identify something small, e.g. that drawer in the kitchen, your fridge, your pile of unopened mail. Take 15 minutes today, unpack that "something small" and take each item and decide:
1. Do I still need / like it?
2. Does it belong here, or somewhere else in the house.
3. Can I toss it, or can I donate it?
4. If it belongs here, then create a system that works for you and put it back.
5. It it belongs somewhere else in the house, put it where it belongs.
