Travel Ready

To travel, is probably most of the exciting things in life. Exploring new cities, old towns and different foods and cultures is priceless. However, to get ready for those travels can be very daunting.

Today I am going to share with you, how I store and organize my travel goods.

First things first. At the beginning of each year, check your passport for validity. If your passport expires in that year, diarise it, and take the necessary action to renew it.

1. I store all of these in the top shelf of my bedroom cupboards.

2. Bags and travel pillows will go inside the suitcases.

3. If a suitcase is small enough to fit into another suitcase, I will store it like that.

What do I have?

· Locks for the suitcases and bags

· Luggage tags

· Different sizes toiletry bags

· Set of toiletries

o Remember to replenish these after your trip

· Adapters for different countries

· Travel size containers to dispense toiletries

· Water-resistant bags for phones and cameras

· List of all the lock and suitcase combinations

· Different size bags to pack small items, such as jewellery, chargers, etc.

1. I keep all of these together in one toiletry bag.

2. All the items that belong together, is kept together.

3. Storing it this way, makes packing very easy and quick.

Remember to go through your suitcases and bags once a year to check whether it is still in a good condition. If it needs fixing, put it in the boot of your car and have it fixed. If damaged, then discard. Be sure to replace these suitcases and bags.

After each trip, clean your suitcases and bags to prolong the use of it.
